Strategy: This Mech excels in caves. It should be used at choke points or in areas where movement is restricted. Avoid open areas as best as possible. All of your SRMs are tied to 1 weapon group: The Alpha Stike (Thus the "Simple"ton). Thanks to the high heat efficiency you can hold down the rock and roll button for an extended period of time before you have to worry about overheating, even on Caustic. I am not afraid to venture out on my own or head to the cave when nobody else does. I commonly take down 2 mechs (sometimes both Assault classes) alone and live to tell the tail to other enemies. 3 mechs is a bit much. Its not uncommon for my final damage to be over 1000. Most mechs (even me vs 2) are dead before I'm close to overheating. I played around with lasers by taking away heat sinks, reducing SRM ammo, and lowering armor but in the end I found this build worked the best and its all due to the extremely high heat efficiency. On matches where I survive the entire round and am constantly in the heat of battle I will go under 25% SRM ammo. This is the main reason I stuck with SRMs only. I found having a few lasers just didn't give me the DPS I wanted when I ran out of SRM ammo. Normally by the end of a match I will have lost 1 or 2 body parts but I'm still kickin' while they are srcreamin'. Final thought... If you can have a friend or 2 make this build and join you... The enemy better watch out. I've had 3 other friends build this (4 total in a match) and it was rare we lost. Caustic was the main culprit of rare losses since its easy to end up in the open. Nothing is better than looking at a light mech and watching it disappear on a solid Alpha Strike.
