First stab at a build that takes maximum advantage of the new weapon quirks. Large Pulses, MLs, some SRMs, and as many heat sinks as I could fit in. Gonna run hot in sustained fights, but a mean alpha to lead off with.

If taking advantage of the double AMS on this chassis appeals to you, here's an alternate that has them. Gives up half the SRM tubes and ammo, though.

Finally, here's a variant of the variant that maxes out the engine and adds some leg armor:

Pre-quirks, this mech was my top C-Bill earner in the Solo queue, but with a very different loadout. I'm planning to run some matches today and see how it compares. Will report back.

Just as a note I deem necessary because of one of your comments: that dual AMS ia the one and only reason for me to use the 5S in the first place. Without using that feature there was no reason not to use the 3F instead - at least not until today's quirk pass. When not using the 2 AMS the 3F might still be on top because it's twist is so much better.

I posted this build in the 3F builds, it wrecks.

I suggest on the first version you go with 4x SRM2, the difference is really big, when you are close to overheat in a brawl and can't fire lasers you can finish the target with the SRM spam, plus they are more accurate. Even makes better use of the heat quirk, 4x SRM2 are better in anything compared to 2x SRM4 but heat, quirk will mitigate.

I'm giving it a 5/5 anyway because I had many drops in this setup and it's a great mech.
