    Shotgun brawler build.
    - Reach out and touch mechs with the ERMLas
    - Strip armor with the SRM24
    - Crit-finisher with the LB20X. Stutter shot with this: shoot the SRMs into the torso twist, hit them with the LBX when they twist back.

2 tons left over with 3 tons each of SRM and AC ammo. Your choice on what to do with those: JJs, DHSs or ammo.
    - While my C is basic, I am running two extra DHS.
    - When elited, its probably best to drop the two DHS and get an extra ton of each type of ammo, or one and a JJ.

I am trying really hard to maximize sustained and max dps without using machine guns. They just are not very useful right now. The dynamics of the game have changed a bit and you really cannot hover around mechs for long enough for them to work. Alpha strikes are way too deadly. You either go in for the kill, or hang back where it is safe. If you go in to machine gun someone to death, you just take tons of damage.

Edit: After 60 games, I prefer to have 5 tons of SRM ammo and 3 tons of LBX20

This is still the best pure brawler I've run on a timberwolf so far. The LB20X is so satisfying to shoot. No silly tin can like the UAC20. It comes out in one burst so it works with the jumpjets as well.

I feel like this is the build I was trying to figure out when I posted the "Search and Destroy" build and I never quite nailed it down. Looks solid, I'm gonna definitely have to try it. Thumbs up.

Without a shadow of a doubt this is one of the best TBR-C builds out there. My first match I got 4 kills, 5 assists, and 825 damage. You play the TBR-C like a medium brawler mech, as with most TBR builds. Took on a full-health AC20 Atlas and took him out easily (they overheat easily, and mind you i had half armor left already). Whether or not I can withstand a Gauss Atlas is yet to be seen, as they dont overheat as often.

The problem with this mech is heat. It can be a real problem when stripping armor face-to-face with a mech. Im almost wondering whether or not I should swap out 2 of the SRM 6's with SRM 4's, giving me extra slots for DHS.

But honestly, stay with the pack and you'll absolutely love this build.

I was trying to do a Brawler build similar to this earlier. The combination LB and SRMS are absolutely brutal no matter what mixture they are in. I love my "Kick Puncher" TBR-S, but I can see this TBR-C build being an absolute monster. Will have to try it out later today.

This thing is a beast... only problem is when you get stuck in a brawling scenario as it does run hot.

Agreed on the heat for the most part. You mostly have to be very conscious during brawling to only use the MLas for strategic shots that either finish an opponent or strip off one of their torsos before their next shot. While not shooting the MLas, your elited heat efficiency goes up to 62% with a sustained dps of 10.54.

I agree, its not ideal nor preferable, but the SRMs are not the primary focus of this build so I've been able to deal with the spread by using them at closer range if possible.

I've been having ammo difficulties with the build in the original post as it is and have been running with 4 tons of each ammo instead of the two extra DHS. To upgrade the guidance to Artemis, I think you would have to drop one of the SRM launchers. That would let you run the build on any chassis and put the jump jet in the CT.

That being said, I tried this build for a while and in the end preferred to have the punch of the posted build.

Only change I've made to this build is I dropped the Mediums for 4 small lasers and extra Lbx Ammo. Like it a lot surprised how often I consistently see 500-600 damage.

I kinda feel like not enough people are taking advantage of the small lasers in builds, I just think of them as IS medium lasers with faster recycle times(which could just be something I made up...have to check now).

The Lbx 20 and Srms make me go:

I copied this build (hope you don't mind) and i've had some good successes with it. I did change it around a little. I dropped one SRM, and switch the ER lasers to Med. Pulses. There's a trade-off with damage in a single strike to be sure, but I don't overheat anywhere near as often. Ghost heat was a major concern for me with 4 SRM 6's.

A mech build is like a piece of sporting equipment. If you take Rafael Nadal's tennis racquet and you give it to Roger Federer, he'll still probably be pretty good with it, but he'll likely prefer the balance of the racquet and the string tension to be different. I'm glad to have inspired a build that fits like a glove for you :)

Make sure you change out one of the torso's away from the S torso so you don't take the nasty quirks that go with their use. The most noticeable is that your SRM salvo's cooldown 5% faster.

Just keep in mind that not all ghost heat is built the same. Excerpt from a different SRM24 build of mine:
The heat penalty on firing a salvo of SRM24 is 17.20-16.00=1.20 heat. I think its a non-issue. It isn't exactly like firing, say 3 PPCs where the heat penalty on the 3rd is 57.15-45.00=12.15 heat.

Shout out to Ub3rMensch who destroyed my face in my own build while I was testing the Heretic loadout.

I got snuck up on as we were flanked at the F5 ridge and got both of my side torsos shredded in 10 seconds flat from high health. I had to see what hit me so hard and caught a glimpse of the loadout on a friendly cam. I called him out for the build. Nice shooting friend :)

I had a long day at work so I took out my frustration on some scrap metal.

Personal best for 5 game steak broken (5183/5=1036.6).
Personal best for 10 game streak smashed (9008/10=900.8).
    Updated the game log.

    Just missed an ace.
