the xl400: what mech is the best fit for this engine?

Yep, got the Boar for xmas. But I'd like to utilize the engine it comes with a little better.

 

Could always stick that 400 in a Pretty Baby and make it go fast(ish)

 

Battlemaster?

 

I put mine into my Dragon Slayer, with an AC/10 and 2xLL, 2xJJ.
89ish km/h when unlocked with jumping. It's pretty fun, although far from optimized I imagine.

It might be worth dropping a tonne of armor for ERLarges and an extra heat sink?

 

Boarsome is fun. I've taken out for a whirl a few times. I'm just missing the luster of the pulse laser action.

 

That's pretty close to what i'm doing with it in my DM

Why? Because the Battlemaster has 85t, which you really need for the superheavy XL400.

 

On the DS i would run this:

 

Yeah MGs are weak and usually not recommended unless you have alot of them or some strong mainweapons. In this case i think they can be handy with those LLas and SRMs.. Besides it doesn't hurt much if you lose that arm.

 

Ya'll need to try harder.
