How is this build not in here yet? I took a long break from Victors (basically mastered them when they fist came out and then haven't touched them since) and am starting to play them again and lo and behold, this meta-compliant build isn't here. It's one of the most popular weapon loadouts and it's everywhere currently but mechspecs, apparently...

Not sure if this is the true pro-build or not, but it was my take on it.

Probably because this mech does the AC20 PPC combo better. 5-5 stars.

Geez, even the 2PPC AC20 build isn't here. I'm disappointed in you guys :(

I know the 9B and 9S are basically interchangeable, so maybe they're there, but here is this one as well... I think I currently prefer the 2AC5s for this 9B build leaving it as more of a jump sniper or mid-range hitter and leaving the 9S as the ac20 srmX brawler.

Here was the AC20 version of it, though, for posterity:

2x AC5 + 2x PPC is best on the Dragon Slayer because of weapon convergence and having a whole side of the mech available for shielding. See my Dragon Sniper for details. Apart from that this combination is still deadly as hell on both the 9B and 9S.

I disagree, the AC5 PPC combo works best in the HM. More tons of fun for the mech. But Eitherway, the combo works everywhere you can put it.

I thought we were talking VTRs... When looking at other chassis, there are obv. a lot of possibilities to mount this specific combination of weapons. It's obviously nice on HM because of the fully actuated arms, but works on the CTF-3D as well as on Firebrand.

For the purpose of a pure sniper build I prefer DS over HM. Not only because of convergence, but because being able to use a mech's whole side as a shield (when mounting a STD obv.) is very strong.

Check out Kageaki. He was using this build. Absolutely wrecking.
