[size=1em]This is my new brawling champ, the bigger and far more pissed off Centurion. I play it exactly the same as the Triple LBX Ilya where I try not to engage the enemy directly until about 150m away (jump jets make this so much easier to maneuver and hide) and then I choose the largest target and take him down. [size=1em]I use the MPLs on light mechs and try to temper my heat against larger mechs by shooting in a rythm (or only using the pulse in opening salvo) since this runs pretty hot. The XL340 is the largest XL I have and as I ran out of slots to do some different setups I chose the MPLs to use tonnage that standard medium lasers would otherwise occupy. AMS was truly an afterthought, too, just another way to reach 80 tons since I rarely get caught by LRMs with this playstyle. I do like adding AMS and sticking near teammates to achieve a greater effectiveness against missiles, though. [size=1em]The only other mech that has consistently provided me with 700+ damage, multi-kill games is my CN9-AL with 4x MPL and 2x SRM6. Had a nice 854dmg, 4k/3a game last night and until people really get it into their heads that brawling is back I'll be happy. [size=1em]Pros: [size=1em]Brawling damage (thanks to that srm buff) [size=1em]JJ's for additional maneuverability [size=1em]75kph once you get tweak [size=1em].44 tons shy of max armor [size=1em]AMS [size=1em]28 shots on the AC20, 16 full salvos on SRM [size=1em]Cons: [size=1em]Short range [size=1em]XL [size=1em]Not as fast as other Victors but still respectable [size=1em]Still mostly dependent on ammo
I would probably trade a ton of SRM ammo for AC20. I like protecting my best weapons, and am proficient in that regard. But overall, an good build.
