What Mech Do You Want To See Added The Most?

This is a forum topic to see what mech chassis you guys want to see added the most into MWO. Personally I would love to see the Enfield make it into the game in the medium class, and it is introduced in the year 3055 according to the cannon, which isn't terribly far off (by this I mean it may never happen for me, but a man can dream can't he?)

I'd like a Phoenix Hawk. But I not sure they'll ever release unseens of Macross design

 

If the Phoenix Hawk was going to be introduced I think it would have been introduced with the Phoenix mechs, or maybe even sooner. But, if they were going to reintroduce an "unseen" they would have to rework it a lot. Honestly I don't think they will be able to make a mech design that reminds us of the original, but is still acceptable by those macross bastards.

Again, same thing with the Phoenix Hawk. While I love both these mechs, I do not think they will be able to modify the design enough to look similar to the original, but also satisfy the lawsuit needs. Damn lawsuits taking my mechs away :angry:

I think both the Crusader and the Warhammer both can appear I'm sure, and I would love it so much if the Warhammer appeared too, but the Orion is already in the game, which is very similar in appearance, so they may have to revamp the design a bit.

 

Nightstar 9J. I wouldn't hold my breath as it is an assault with two ballistic slots capable of holding Gauss or AC/20's. Still, it is a little slow, moving 48.6 with the default engine. Plus the 100% heat efficient design doesn't translate into MWO well at all. It would have a roughly 35% heat efficiency. Ish.
But I'd still love it.

Always loved the Zeus.
Having a Cyclops, another assault with ECM would be good too. But it's load out is too similar to an Atlas, so i doubt it.

 

Oh my goodness I would absolutely love the Zeus! That would be my heavy baby

 

We need some heavy with ECM.

Just my opinoin, but I think compared to the Warhammer the Orion looks..... Dumpy like it was put together with spare parts

 

The Orion always looked dumpy... even by lore. Its the poor mans Atlas. Mass produced and easy to maintain. It was one of the few mechs that could always be found. It's a workhorse mech, few frills, but very rugged. If the game had more nuances, it would reflect these special characteristics of mechs. (maybe of even weapons by different manufacturers, like a weapons quality systems) The reason i always loved the Zeus was because it was know to have some of the best cooling of any mech in it's class. In this game, all that is irrelevant. All mech are created equal and only the hardpoints really matter, but that was never the case by lore.

 

How much MC would it cost to get me a Stone Rhino?

Truthfully, though I would like to see a Phoenix Hawk or a Marauder if MWO is willing to design some unseens.

More realistically, it's not really what I want, but what MWO needs is the Banshee, just so that they can say they have every weight class filled.

 

I'm sure it won't happen but I'd love to see the annihilator make it into the game. I'm not much of an assault pilot (or any other kind of pilot if I'm honest) but I do think an assault with that many ballistic hardpoints would be a truly scary proposition. Sure, it would be slower than a wet week but hey...

 

The mech I want will never be added to MWO.
