What other Online Games besides MWO do you else play?

Besides MWO? GW2 (Though it's been about a month...); LotRO and... ::glances about:: Minecraft.

Just downloaded&played Warface (now finally Open Beta) and WOW! Gameplay is awesome. What a fuckking speed! Just made my first game and it totally rocks!




If you love CryEngine and want some distraction from MWO, this game is highly recommended!

Online Games? I play a lot of single player or co-op games but there are only a couple MMO/MOBA games I play; MWO, Planetside 2, League of Legends, and Awesomenauts.

I played DotA a bit but it was difficult enough for me to learn the shop in LoL and DotA just seems even more complicated to me. I'm not particularly good at LoL as I don't play it much and when I did it was just bot games. But Awesomenauts... now there is a MOBA I can get behind. The shop is simplified and so easy to use. Instead of picking from a pool of items, each champion has their own list of items and upgrades and you pick the ones you want to use before you've even entered the game. Then you just go back and click the ones you want at that moment when you've collected the necessary Solar. A much better system if you ask me. My favorite character is Froggy G (and yes I have the Pimpy G skin).

 

LoL. Minecraft. Dwarf Fortress. SLASH'EM (a game which makes Dwarf Fortress look easy and forgiving.) Various other Nethack variants. Starcraft II. Terraria. Simon Tatham's Portable Puzzles. Various and sundry games from the Humble Bundles.

Minecraft (the DakkaDakka server), Firefall, Planetside2, a few others. Loved Morrowind, but Skyrim just hasn't been able to pull me in like TES3 did.

For alternative Mech action, and to scratch my long-neglected ChromeHounds itch, I play M.A.V.. It's in early Alpha, doing a Minecraft-style early adopt approach. Built by one guy, if you'll believe it, with support from the community. It's shaping up to be awesome.

 

Long time before i started with Mechwarrior Games, i already had some affectation for Robot/Mech-Games. In the 80s i owned an NES and guess what was one of my favorite games? ----> Megaman! So lovely cool rocking Robot-Game and the music was soo awesome. I don't play Megaman anymore, because i did it trillion times already, was so addictive. But i do sometimes go to one of my favorite fan-projects sites for video-game-music-remixes and listen to new interpretations of those old retro beepbeep songs from the 80s. If you don't know that site, i highly recommend you to visit it. It has a huge collection of cover versions of class videogames from awesome artists/remixers. Maybe one day some MWO-"Songs/Themes" will be remixed there too. (if PGI ever integrates Music in the game )

Absolutely nothing else right now... MWO every time I sit down...

I do break it up with some single-player games I need to finish though:

This will change soon as I have a few Online games I need to get into, mainly:
ARMA 3
Natural Selection 2

 

LOL gets new Champion Yasuo - The Unforgiven and new Balance Patch.. I really like this new Sh't! Time for me to play a little less MWO and more LOL again

 

Downloaded WoWarplanes tonite, gonna give it a shot:



I've been through a lot of flight sims all the way back to the old Falcon4 ladders, Jane's stuff and FA2, so we will see. Generally though, if you don't have some basic knowledge of flight dynamics and ACM then the kinds of people that gravitate to these games will beat the f*ck out of you...

...aaaaand currently the client update is 5.4 gigs, oooo-k... yeah, I'll get back to ya in a day or two...
