This seems kind of obvious, I don't know why I didn't try it earlier. Pretty straightforward, fast, agile, and with plenty of scope for customisation. The only tricky thing is getting used to the odd rhythm of the guns - I find it hard to tell when to double-tap when I'm listening to them both go off at different rates. Still seems to do a decent job - I haven't got to grips with it yet but managed 600+ damage in my second game, I think it has potential.
Unable to learn the lesson about medium mechs' leg armor and ammo storage I am looking forward to meeting you in this thing while piloting an Oxide, Firestarter or Arctic Cheetah...
The arrogance from a small few on this forum has really made it not worthwhile to bother posting anything. In my other 7D thread I chose my words to disagree with you without being a dick about it, and this is what I get back. From a moderator! I moderate social media for a living and I've gotta tell you dude, this isn't the way to bolster your community. To the few who are not interested in discussion at all, only expounding their way and snark for anyone who differs: you're a minority but you make the forum an offputting place to spend spare time, and that affects every member. Cheers Epikt for being one of the reasons I started playing MWO, Enileph for good feedback & discussion, Blagg for great builds, and others. See ya on the battlefield. *-*7
Well, my post here was made only minutes before you replied on the other one. Appologies for the mismatch of time. If you don't get legged in you medium mechs while storing ammo there - good for you... all the power for you then.
The mismatch in response timing is certainly a regrettable instance that unfortunately compounded whatever conflict was created. From a pragmatic standpoint, the conflict should not detract from the original statement that it is inadvisable to store ammo in the legs of a medium or light. I am sorry you see it as arrogance, rather than prudence. If it works for you, than I am happy that you have a build you enjoy. Do not begrudge someone, however, when they point out a design quirk/flaw that can lead to someone else having a drastically different experience. That (hopefully seen as gentle) rebuke aside, I like the agility of this build though it may take awhile for me to get used to the lack of armament. (Since I am primarily an Assault pilot). I'll try it and let you know.
