Can't pretend I see any point at all to the build in a post quirked word.... 2 streaks does nothing at all.
You can go even faster: To be fair PB is all looks but it is hard to do a good build. To go with quirks the best you have is 2x LL + 3xSRM4, which is worse than a medium.
Popped on this weekend and saw a Locust with an LPL... Don't even want to know what kind of glass cannon the little bug was, but, DAMN that's a heavy weapon for a 20T mech... Hell, you've gotta have about 8-9T just in engine and Heat Sinks alone! Brave little toaster...
It used to be surprisingly effective as no one expected it... I've taken down canny Orion pilots before from no damage but on the other hand some games you'd just meet a streak boat and die painfully.
I built this before quirks and continue to use this. I sneak around and execute people. One day I should actually fix it, or scrap. I don't even play Jagermechs so this thing is just Basic because I can't open Elite. The worst part? It has my best K/D ratio.
Never sell a Hero Mech. Just buy the S and the DD chassis, and you will love the Jager for CW or PUG.
There's a known bug where you will drop into a match with some/all of your loadout missing completely. When you pop back to the main screen, you can sometimes see that your mech appears to have nothing equipped...going to the mech lab fixes it, but if you don't, you will drop with whatever the game THINKS you have equipped. Only way I think it lets this happen...
Happened to me once, and I am equipped with the strangest set of weapons. This is the only way you can have a no-weapon mech now, since actively select a no-weapon mech and the game would not let you launch into battle.
Yeah bug seemed to come back with the last patch very frustratingly as I get it a lot with such a large armoury.
Yep, I saw multiple mechs with no weapons today. I also saw a Panther wil 2 LRM5s. This one deserves a nomination on this thread.
Mmmh I sort of get it for competitions - long range fire support that still works against ECM protected targets. Saw quite a few LRM AS7-S's this weekend. Have to admit I found myself ghosting a quad (?) ALRM 15, tag, quad ML Stalker 3F this weekend in a match and learn a bit about positioning and timing in an LRM boat so am slightly more appreciating about some LRM pilots than I was before. Haven't had much opportunity to ghost a decent LRM pilot before. Edit: I'm presuming this was the group queue btw as no tag in solo is for me a big no no in an IS mech.
