made to farm that 150k bonus I think. You don't need affort. Just shoot and spam once on each lock, then constantly do damage on a stupid target. Automatically 30 point and 150k.
The TDR-5S(P) is one of the few +30% CBill IS mechs that can be used as a heavy LRM boat, and I've been known to run LRM20+LRM10 on the rare occasion when I want to spam LRMs. Confused about the inclusion of the MGs as well as using 1 MPL + 2MLas instead of just 3 MLas, as they are a waste of tonnage, but all in all the build is not terrible, just highly unoptimized.
My guess is that this was a streak build, hence the +A (gonna capitalize on that extra untold bonus). The mech is modded to SRM, but dude is too lazy to spend cbills fr a few testruns.
Hey, I heard you liked King Crabs, so I fucked up a build on one as badly as I could and took it into a match. Naturally, he was last alive on his team, since he was relying purely on those LRMs...
And here I thought the AC/20 Huginn I saw was bad... Then I see the Joffrey Baratheon of King Crabs. (Ineffective, hated by everyone, can't fight for shit, and has everyone else do his dirty work for him.)
What the? Seriously. LRM-5's and two medium lasers? And someone is saying he had 3K ammo? I just... I want to cry. Seriously... No clue. Maybe: Like I said, AC/20 Huginn. Waste.
I had to read that a couple times to get through my brain haze...I kept thinking "I've seen King Joffrey (the player) a few times, and his builds were never bad?" I may be a bit tired Also, that AC20 Raven...one of our own Mechspeccers is known for running that for fun He may or may not even have a video of it in the screening forum...
In the last few days I came across these two peculiar gentlemen: Now, the Raven build isn't so much cringeworthy as it is really, really weird. He was comparatively slow, going about Kit Fox speed but he at least has the ranged firepower for it not to matter *this* much. Kind of like a CBill-version of a Panther, only slower and without Jump Jets but with ECM. The Locust on the other hand... I have honestly no idea how he did that. Or why. Following in Smurfy is my reverse-engineered best guess when he wants at least a smidgen of armor.
