This build is very similar to one of the builds on the Heavy Metal, specifically the "Best Of", https://www.mechspecs.com/threads/hgn-hm-best-of-2x-ac5-3x-llas-1x-jj-xl330-std300.4077/. The Zeus enjoys the range quirks as well as more speed over the HGN-HM, but also loses some heatsinks and the ability to jump. This 'mech is best played as midrange fire support.
Interesting choice on the XL. Not so sure this mech is suited for it like the Victors or the crazier HGN pilots are. I was going with the STD, but was debating a long time between 3LL or 2LPL. XL aside, I wonder which will prove the more dominant if one goes the 2ac5 route instead of Gauss with this mech (I have my money on the 2LPL and is what I'll try out first).
5/5, I think sticking all that ammo in the Torso is going to lead to ammo explosion on your XL engine and death. Much safer to put in the legs and head. Im also not sure stripping the arm is a good idea either, even though you have an XL you can still shield with it and spread the damage around. These few tweaks only cost a tiny bit of speed and a ton of ammo!
